Studio Set Up
SIMPLE TO SET UP - EASY TO USE
ONE STUDIO - TWO LOOKS
PORTRAIT STUDIO: Create this look by using the white blanket over the posing pillow. This look is the easiest to achieve and works best with the newborn and tummy-time milestones.
VIRTUAL STUDIO: Create this look by using only the green posing pillow. In this setup EVERYTHING around the baby will change when you select a background from our app.
GOOD LIGHTING IS THE KEY TO A GREAT PHOTO!
Natural light is quite simply the most beautiful light. Set up your new Baby Box Studio on the floor near a natural light source with the front of the studio facing the light. If natural light is not available, simply be sure your room is lit brightly. Helpful Tip: be sure to light the baby and the green screen from the front — not from behind.
If your natural light source is limited: any available light or lamp will do. Set up your studio in a brightly lit room or bring a lamp or light source within a safe distance of your setup. Helpful Tip: Most smartphone camera technology is built with an exposure feature to balance the amount of light taken in by your smartphone camera, just before you take the pic.
If your baby is sleeping for your mini photoshoot and the lit is dim, use the flash on your smartphone camera to capture photos. Helpful Tip: get the perfectly positioned shot and you can brighten and adjust your photo when you upload it to the Baby Box Studio app.
